Welcome to Mission Home Missionary Baptist Church!
We are so glad you are here!

Mission Home Missionary Baptist Church organized in 1909. In 1907, the people in the community and Sams School wanted a church in the area, since there was not one. They called a Missionary from Shawnee. In 1931, a new school building was built. In the mid-30s, the school board would no longer allow the church to meet at the school. In the late 30's one acre was donated to build a one-room block building. In 1965,  after the school had consolidated with Butner and Wewoka, the church purchased the Sams School building. After getting all the good from the school building, Bro. Matt led us to build a new building. The church saved up a down payment, secured the land, and began preparing the land for a new building. With the help of the Lord and the Macedonian Mission Builders, we built the new building on Highway 56. Our first service in the building was on January 2, 2022. We recently had a note-burning service since the build was completely paid for in March of 2026!! The Lord gets all the glory!!
